SARPY COUNTY SHERIFF'S FOUNDATION FUND

The Sarpy County Sheriff's Foundation Fund is a newly established Affiliated Fund of Midlands Community Foundation. The purpose of the fund is to encourage, solicit, and receive charitable contributions to promote public safety through education, public awareness, memorials, and charitable activities in support of the current and future needs of the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office.

Our goal is to develop community partnerships to enhance public safety in Sarpy County with the support of businesses, individuals and families.

Donations to the Sarpy County Sheriff's Foundation Fund will enhance vital community service programs that cannot be supported solely by Sarpy County tax dollars, especially those directly affecting the safety and well-being of our community.

The Sarpy County Sheriff's Foundation Fund is an Affiliated Fund of Midlands Community Foundation (MCF). MCF is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) and is a public charity FEIN:51-0191738.

Donations to the fund may be used for activities that the Sarpy County Sheriff's Foundation's Board of Directors deem suitable for the advancement and promotion of law enforcement, public service missions, and furthering the responsibilities and objectives of the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office. These objectives include, but are not limited to, unbudgeted or discretionary needs, training, equipment, community service programs on crime prevention, drug and alcohol awareness, community outreach, safety education, and support of families of fallen officers or those injured in the line of duty.
